As a trainee EMT – Ambulance Crew Member, you will acquire all the necessary knowledge and hands-on experience required to effectively and swiftly handle critical and life-threatening situations before and during patient transport.

As part of pre-hospital care, before the patient or injured person reaches an organized healthcare facility, the EMT or ambulance crew must relay essential information about the patient’s condition to the Emergency Response Center and follow the instructions provided via wireless communication. Additionally, EMTs must undergo specialized training to recognize and manage acute medical emergencies, accidents, and more, while performing life-saving interventions under guidance, such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), airway management, defibrillation, fracture immobilization, oxygen administration, IV therapy, and medication administration.

Upon completing their studies at SBIE, graduates of the EMT – Ambulance Crew program are fully qualified to ensure the safe transport of patients and injured individuals to healthcare facilities.
