Points of Excellence General Nursing IEK SVIE
SBIE has secured access for General Nursing students to the largest public and private hospitals, treatment centers, and clinics in Greece for their clinical education, practical training, and professional placement. Students specialize by using state-of-the-art medical equipment in laboratories that simulate real hospital rooms, while receiving expertise in cutting-edge areas such as blood collection and venipuncture with specialized mannequins.
Additionally, Nursing School students participate in specialized seminars in collaboration with leading organizations, such as the "MITERA" Group, and take part in initiatives organized jointly with scientific societies and NGOs, such as the "Hellenic Diabetic Society," "Doctors of the World," "Elpida," "Alma Zois," and others. Furthermore, students have the opportunity to gain a distinct specialization in "Maternity Care for Pregnancy, Delivery, and Postpartum" as well as in "Perioperative Patient Care," certified by ACTA QTL Expert from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki's Technology Transfer Office. They can also obtain the ERC-Basic Life Support certification, both of which are in high demand in the healthcare sector. Lastly, Nursing students have the opportunity to complete their practical training abroad through the Erasmus+ European program.
