Points of Excellence
The answer is yes!
SBIE is the first institution to establish Occupational Therapy studies in Greece, offering students exclusive access to clinical training with real cases through collaborations with major healthcare institutions, therapeutic structures, and organizations specializing in the rehabilitation of children and adults (such as Amimoni, MDA Hellas, and The Child’s House). At the same time, hands-on training takes place in fully equipped laboratories that simulate real workplace conditions.
Additionally, Occupational Therapy students participate in a variety of experiential seminars on key topics in the field, such as autism, developmental disorders, learning difficulties, and ADHD, featuring lectures by top experts. Sessions with therapists and patients also take place, allowing students to gain insights from real-life experiences within their coursework. Finally, all students have the opportunity to travel and stay in major cities abroad, completing their internships at European healthcare institutions through the Erasmus+ program.
