Description
For the first time in Greece, a program that fully covers the spectrum of obstetric care and the operations of a modern maternity ward, with an emphasis on immediate response to emergencies. Participants will become fully familiar with the maternity ward's environment and equipment, as well as the management of obstetric emergencies, while observing both normal and complicated childbirth procedures, along with the care, support, and treatment of the mother and newborn. Exclusively, ΙΕΚ ΣΒΙΕ has secured access for its students to the ΜΗΤΕΡΑ Maternity Hospital for their clinical training, allowing them to gain hands-on experience in a real working environment.
Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to be trained in the organization and operation of the maternity ward, preparation for the operating room, as well as sterilization of the anesthesiology and neonatology department tools and space. The program also includes training on health and workplace safety, customer service, patient psychology, and marketing.
