In the Writing & Publishing a Work seminar, you will learn:
The basic rules of writing involving plot, characters, and dialogues that apply to every genre.
How to analyze a text and identify hidden political, religious, psychological, and sexual symbols found in movies, novels, plays, and classic fairy tales (for example, do you know what sexual symbol is hidden in Cinderella’s slipper?)
How to use these symbols in your own writing to add depth to the plot, dialogues, and psychological background of your characters.
At the end of the seminar, your work will be published in a professional edition, available in bookstores and online from Piigi Publishing.

Thematic Units
In the Beginning Was the Idea: How do we find ideas? What is brainstorming for writing?
Structure: How do we create a solid framework? Outline. Scenes. Characters. Connections. Storyboard.
Dialogue: Why is it the most important element in a work? What are the rules of dialogue? How do we make dialogue flow freely?
Characters: How do we create interesting characters? What role do identity and physical appearance play? How do we deepen their psychology? How do we find their dark spot?
Guiding Questions: What are the “4 P’s” of a work? How do they guide our story?
Goals: Verbal, emotional, and intellectual goals. Why should all three exist?
Title: How do we choose the right title? Why is it so important?
Comedy vs. Drama: What are the differences? Happy ending or sad ending?
Age Group Works: How do we approach them in every genre?
Analysis of the 3 motifs used in every work written.
Differentiating the text for books, scenes, and (small or large) screen adaptations.
Differentiating genres: Basic rules and secrets of writing detective, thriller, fantasy, romance, social, political, comedy works, and fairy tales.
Analysis of hidden symbols (political, religious, sexual, psychological) in famous movies, novels, and the 7 most popular fairy tales worldwide.
Analysis of hidden symbols in the works of the Brothers Grimm, The Lord of the Rings, The Little Prince, and Harry Potter (why is Harry Potter considered poor quality reading?)
Psychological analysis of characters based on Freud, Jung, Yalom, etc.
Analysis of sexual symbols in Disney animated films.
Each seminar session includes a presentation of key writing elements and image analysis of hidden symbols.
At the end of each session, assignments will be given that will lead to the writing of each participant's personal work. After the final correction of the works under the supervision of the instructor, they will be published by Piigi Publishing, and the process will conclude with an open book presentation of the participants' works.
After the seminar, participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance from ΣΒΙΕ.
