Surgical Nursing is a multifaceted profession and a specialized scientific field that falls under the Health and Welfare sector. The system of strategies for caring for patients undergoing surgery is known as perioperative nursing care, focusing on patient well-being.
It includes preoperative preparation of the patient and their medical file, intraoperative management, postoperative care, and rehabilitation.
Healthcare professionals specializing in perioperative nursing care are essential and valuable members of surgical teams.
They participate in the functions of the surgical team, the Anesthesiology Team, Surgical Clinic Departments, as well as the Emergency Department, Interventional Endoscopy Unit, Hemodynamics Laboratory, and Outpatient Clinics.
Duration:
The seminar has a total duration of 200 hours, consisting of:
- 80 hours of theoretical instruction
- 120 hours of practical training in operating rooms, sterilization departments, and surgical clinics
