The veterinary profession combines a love for animals with the fascination of science. Veterinarians, as healthcare professionals, are confronted daily with numerous cases and ethical decisions regarding the care of their patients. Their daily work is supported by well-trained Assistants.
The Educational Organization for Contemporary Biomedical Professions (SVIE), which established Health Professions in Greece, is launching for the first time the specialization of "Veterinary Assistant and Pet Caretaker." This 6-month professional training program is fully tailored to the requirements of the profession and aims to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to stand out in the job market.
Graduates of the program have the opportunity for immediate employment at collaborating veterinary clinics and practices (PAWsitive Vet Care, Hellenic Animal Welfare Society).
