SBIE is hosting an international Erasmus+ program on

SBIE, as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen its outward-looking approach and international presence,
hosted a week of intensive educational activities, focusing on the current trends shaping the beauty and hairdressing sector: sustainability, digitalization, and innovation.

The program included workshops, presentations, and hands-on experiences in cutting-edge fields, such as:

applications of artificial intelligence in real-time makeup
use digital tools for skin analysis and personalized treatments 3
D anatomical visualization via the 3D Organon platform
modern techniques in podiatry and nail care
The “Mediterranean Organic Hand SPA Ritual” workshop stood out, highlighting the importance of natural and sustainable practices in aesthetics, as well as presentations on the use of VR and AR technologies in the beauty industry.

Participants also had the opportunity to visit selected professional venues, such as beauty and wellness centers, as well as high-end hotels, gaining firsthand insight into market demands.

As part of the mobility program, an educational visit was also conducted at the Patras School of Beauty and Aesthetics (SBIE), featuring activities from the Hairdressing Department and practical applications of modern
techniques.

As stated by the SBIE administration, “participation in Erasmus+ programs is a key pillar of our educational philosophy, strengthening students’ skills and building bridges with the international educational and
professional community.”

Through initiatives such as this, SVIE reaffirms its role as a modern educational institution that invests in innovation, sustainability, and international cooperation.
